Now that they have a book deal, Tyler, the Creator & Co. are continuing their colonization of non-Internet spaces with a move to TV. On Thursday, Adult Swim announced that it had picked up a live-action series featuring the group. Loiter Squad is described as a mix of “sketches, man on the street segments, pranks and, naturally, music,†apparently intended to “recall Jackass.†That doesn’t sound like much of a stretch, considering the nature of their videos (and Twitter feeds.) Plus, the project is being produced by Dickhouse Entertainment, which is the actual name of a production company run by Jackasses Johnny Knoxville and Jeff Tremaine, along with Spike Jonze.
