Christmas is going to come twice for Leonardo DiCaprio next year. Warner Bros. just announced that Baz Luhrmann’s 3-D take on The Great Gatsby will be released on December 25, 2012, a date already staked out by Quentin Tarantino’s revenge western Django Unchained, which will also star DiCaprio. If there’s anyone who might be able to sympathize with the double-dip, it’s DiCaprio’s friend and Gatsby co-star Tobey Maguire: He’s got the Ang Lee movie Life of Pi coming out just four days before on December 21.
