For all those avidly awaiting the day you can load up your Kindle or iPad with the full seven-book Harry Potter series, bad news: Things are a wee bit behind schedule. Administrators for J. K. Rowling’s Pottermore website — currently only available to one million people participating in a trial period — now say it will open for general registration by the end of this month, and that the online store will only be operational by the first half of next year. But before getting all harrumph-y, remember what it was like waiting while J. K. Rowling wrote the next book; not to mention there’s always a Barnes & Noble nearby if you’re really hard up. [AP]
