Back in June, Matt Damon revealed to Vulture that he was drawing close to his directorial debut and that he’d already cast John Krasinski in it. Now we know a bit more, thanks to Variety: Damon has cast himself, too. He’ll star as a salesman arriving in a small town, but few other details are known about the movie, which Damon and Krasinski co-wrote (based on a story developed by Krasinski and Dave Eggers). Hmm, Matt Damon is busy writing screenplays with a taller, handsome actor who’s also interested in directing? Ben Affleck, go back and claim what you had first! [Showblitz/Variety]
