Kelly Clarkson, Mary J. Blige, Jennifer Hudson, Florence Welch, Jill Scott, and the ever-determined Jessie J. For the history fans: Clarkson and Hudson were both Divas back in 2009, Jill Scott was a member of the 2001 class, and Mary J. Blige will be making her fourth Divas appearance (2001, 2002, and 2003 previously). The cynics among you might notice that all of the divas in question have albums out this year, though that’s hardly a new Divas trend. So, thoughts? Do you approve, or does the absence of a Britney or Rihanna feel a little weird? Will Jessie J ever be able to rebound from that “No Scrubs†fiasco? Most important, can a Kelly-Florence duet on “Since U Been Gone†top last year’s Katy Perry–Nicki Minaj “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun? (The answer to that last one is probably “no, nothing can.â€) [MTV]
