Christian Bale Finished As Batman After The Dark Knight Rises

Actor Christian Bale who plays Batman fights actor Tom Hardy who plays villain Bane on the front steps of Gotham City Hall in Pittsburgh, PA. At one point in the fight scene Tom Hardy's pants had a wardrobe malfunction as his whole thigh was showing out of his villain outfit. The scene had hundreds of extras dressed as police men and bad guys fighting. “I wrapped a few days ago so that will be the last time I’m taking that cowl [Batman hood] off,†Bale told the Philippine Daily Inquirer, referring to The Dark Knight Rises. “I believe that the whole production wrapped yesterday, so it’s all done. Everything’s finished. It’s me and Chris — that will be the end of that Batman era.†It’s been a heck of a run for Christopher Nolan’s reboot starring Christian Bale, with the latest and apparently last installment due out in Summer 2012.
