Would you like to see Patton Oswalt stand entirely motionless during a three-minute scene of King of Queens (on which he’s a series regular, and presumably well-established enough to play around a bit)? Just standing there. Not moving. Not smiling or reacting to the scene in any way. Oh, yep, there he is again through the kitchen window at two minutes in. I kind of expected him to be in the next scene too, just standing there in the corner of Doug and Carrie’s bedroom as they have sex. Every scene could be like a mini-game of Where’s Patton? Double the entertainment!
