Portlandia’s going on tour! To promote the new season, which starts January 6, Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein will travel to six cities “performing live music, presenting sneak-peek clips from the show’s second season and sharing personal anecdotes about the creation and inspiration of Portlandia.†(I think we can safely assume that the “creation and inspiration†process involved a lot of slow handcrafting of organic and locally recycled materials.) It’s a pretty new concept for a TV show to go on tour, which is exciting and should be a lot of fun. I just hope I don’t run into them on the road. BICYCLE RIGHT!
