Adam Brody has signed on to star in two upcoming indie movies, Variety reports. He’ll play the lead in the film adaptation of Neil LaBute’s play Some Girl(s) and star in the presumably funnier Welcome to the Jungle. Jungle also stars Kristen Schaal, Rob Huebel, and Jean-Claude Van Damme as employees of a design agency whose work retreat goes awry. In Girls, Brody plays a writer who sets out on a road trip to reconnect with five ex-girlfriends — a role played onstage by David Schwimmer in London and Eric McCormick Off Broadway, which is interesting company for Brody to keep. Seth Cohen usurping Ross Gellar? Discuss.
