Joss Whedon’s long-anticipated meta horror film The Cabin in the Woods will be opening its doors in Texas. The Drew Goddard-directed film (which he co-scripted with geek god Whedon) was announced today as the opening-night film at South by Southwest, the annual film, music, and interactive festival held in Austin. Just as enticing: Lena Dunham, a notable SXSW alum, will be bringing three episodes of her upcoming HBO comedy Girls to screen at the fest, which runs from March 9 to March 17.
