Here’s a fairly convincing argument that Taran Killam is about to become the biggest star on SNL. As it points out, the cast is evenly split between older (Wiig, Sudeikis, Hader, Samberg, Meyers, Armisen and Thompson) and newer members (Killam, Elliott, Pedrad, Pharoah, Bayer, Brittain and Moynihan), and the older half is getting up there in terms of years on the show. It may be Killam, more than any of the other new players, who’s ready to take their place. We already know he can do a great Robyn, after all.
