With a list of collaborators including Errol Morris, Ira Glass, and the aforementioned Rudd, who will play the real-life TV repairman who pioneered cryogenics back in the sixties, Freezing People Is Easy was already shaping up into a promising movie. Now add in Wilson, Walken, and Wiig (who is reportedly the only cast member still mulling an offer) and the project sounds almost foolproof. Oh, and did we mention it was based on a “This American Life†segment (hence the involvement of Glass)? Please, everyone, live up to your promise, and wrest the good name of movie cryogenics back from Vanilla Sky and Austin Powers. We believe.
