Naomi Watts, not Jessica Chastain, will play Princess Diana in Caught in Flight, the film’s production company announced yesterday. The film focuses on the last two years of Diana’s life, particularly her romantic relationship with heart surgeon Hasnat Kahn, which according to the release allowed her to “[find] true personal happiness for the first time.†The rest of the cast hasn’t been announced yet, so get thee to a casting agent, people who’ve always seen themselves as a Prince Charles type. The movie goes into production later this year.
