They may be co-starring together in The Avengers, but what they really wanna do is sing. Producers announced today that Mark Ruffalo is set to join Scarlett Johansson in the new movie musical from director John Carney (Once), earnestly titled Can a Song Save Your Life? In it, Ruffalo will play a washed-up music producer who discovers Johansson singing at a bar, a meeting that has the potential to turn both their lives around. Stay for the surprising post-credits tag, when Samuel L. Jackson recruits even more fledgling singers!
