Angelina Jolie’s inchoate Maleficent might be getting a little more choate: Elle Fanning is apparently in talks to co-star in the long-gestating movie, according to Twitch. She would play the Sleeping Beauty aka Aurora aka Briar Rose to Jolie’s Evil Queen. Fanning’s only 14, but she seems like she could play a princess-y 16, plus she already radiates that round-eyed Disney-like innocence — so it’ll be extra vile and wonderful when Angelina brings down the fury of a thousand hells on her. Start burning those spinning wheels, peasants!
