Justified will be back for a thirteen-episode fourth season, FX announced today, surprising no one but delighting fans of Kentucky-set crime solving and sardonic banter. So far this season has been up slightly over last season audience-wise, but down just a tiny, tiny bit enthrallment- and intrigue-wise — Robert Quarles is no Mags Bennett, though the season is just at its halfway point, so there’s still time for additional villainy. Week-to-week funniness has remained pretty constant, and Timothy Olyphant’s go-to expression of weary “get-a-load-of-this†exasperation has grown even more charming.
