Tom Cruise is making the sci-fi movie Oblivion with the director of Tron: Legacy, Joseph Kosinski, and so far it has hummed along respectably while picking up cast members. Morgan Freeman? Sure. Andrea Riseborough? Very good in W.E.! Olga Kurylenko? Fine choice, even though we will have to spell-check at least two actresses’ surnames whenever writing about this project. Still, did it seem like this project was missing a little something? A little flavor? Someone who could go toe-to-toe with Tom Cruise in sheer, unpredictable, capital-E ENERGY?
