It’s only natural to feel excited when up-and-coming comedy star Rebel Wilson (Bridesmaids, The Bachelorette) books another movie, just as it’s completely understandable to feel a twinge of concern that her next project is from Michael Bay, who is not exactly known for his sensitive depiction of women over certain waist sizes. In any case, EW reports that Wilson has joined the cast of Bay’s bodybuilding comedy Pain and Gain, where she’ll star opposite Dwayne Johnson, Mark Wahlberg, and swimsuit model Bar Paly, among others. Were you hoping that Wilson was cast in the Bay-produced Ninja Turtles? Not gonna lie, we’d be interested.
