For a director like Wes Anderson, a movie’s setting is everything: Just think of the carefully cluttered brownstone of The Royal Tenenbaums, the private school in Rushmore, or the titular train in The Darjeeling Limited. In his new film, Moonrise Kingdom, Anderson sets the story of two missing young lovers on the dreamy New England island called New Penzance, and in this exclusive clip from the movie, narrator Bob Balaban will tell you everything you need to know about the unique location. Moonrise Kingdom (which also stars Bill Murray, Edward Norton, Tilda Swinton, and Jason Schwartzman) was just announced for an in-competition bow at Cannes, but it’ll be out in select U.S. theaters not long after on May 25.
