We’re in for several long months of chitchat about who will replace Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez (and maybe Randy Jackson) on Idol next season. But at least we can kick off speculation season with a fun one: Aretha Franklin apparently told CNN that she wants in on the gig, and that she’d like to bring Patti LaBelle along with her.
