“My first special was a lot of quick, small stories like me going to get sheets at Bed Bath & Beyond and stuff about my cousin Harris. On my new tour, I talk about three things: babies, marriage, and how hard it is to find someone. I could talk about those topics forever– the easiest writing happens when you have a genuine passion for the material, or it evokes an emotion: anger, fear, whatever. This tour is driven mostly by fear: I’m 29 now, am I really ready to get married and have a kid? I don’t think so. So it’s about coming to the realization that a lot of people I know are doing that right now and how it’s scary to me.â€
