When Vulture heard in February that Russell Crowe was sparking the Dracula reimagining Harker, we were in no way sure Crowe was considering the role of the Count, which he’s now signed on for. (Between Harker, RZA’s The Man With the Iron Fists, and starring in Darren Aronofsky’s Noah, Crowe is all over the damned place.) Nor did we know Eli Roth, seminal purveyor of torture porn via Hostel, would be approached to direct. Whoa.
