Recent Olympic torchbearer John Legend has signed an exclusive development deal with Universal Cable Productions for his young Get Lifted Film Company. Universal “has been very selective with its pod deals,†Deadline reports, so whatever TV sensibilities Legend’s got in him are apparently valuable. Keep an eye out for Legend’s involvement with something on USA, Syfy, or possibly elsewhere soon.
