It was only a matter of time. After flaunting their relationship at Cannes, the BET Awards, and FAO Schwartz, the power couple that is Kimye could not possibly avoid a turn in front of the E! cameras that made Kim Kardashian famous (after the cell-phone camera that made her famous). And so Kanye West found himself on his first episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians last night, accompanying Kim and her sisters to the opening of Scott Disick’s new restaurant. How did it go? Well, ‘Ye was onscreen for about a minute total, and he spent most of that time hiding behind a wall, looking uncomfortable, while Kim tried to pick a pair of pointy shoes. Things got a little better at the restaurant — there was some nice cuddling and one genuine smile, and Kanye offered to take Kim to Japan at one point, which is fancy. Bonus: If you had any lingering confusion about “Way Too Cold†(né “Therafluâ€), Kourtney Kardashian is now available to explain the song’s lyrics. (Cue the Kardashian Pop-Up Video spinoff in 3, 2, 1 … )
