Ken Burns has finished his Dustbowl opus and is now setting his sights on the Roosevelt family. PBS announced at the TCAs over the weekend that Burns’s new project will be a seven-part, fourteen-hour series called The Roosevelts: An Intimate History, which will mostly focus on Teddy, Franklin, and Eleanor. As if that weren’t nutritious enough, Paul Giamatti, Edward Herrmann, and Meryl Streep will provide their voices, so here’s hoping you like your highbrow highbrow.
