Now that their adult counterparts have successfully negotiated for salary increases, the child stars of ABC’s Modern Family are looking to do the same. Sources say 13-year-old Rico Rodriguez (Manny), 13-year-old Nolan Gould (Luke), 14-year-old Ariel Winter (Alex), and 21-year-old Sarah Hyland (who plays Hayley and is more of a young adult) will begin talking to the show’s studio, 20th Century Fox, about the subject next week, though their conversations are expected to be less “contentious†than those of the grown-up actors.Â
