Drake is so apparently unbothered by Kendrick Lamar’s victory lap of an album that he’s decided to move on to new targets. Yeah, why keep worrying about the greatest rapper of our generation when you could be worrying about … R&B hitmaker Steve Lacy? (To be fair, “rap music is weird right now,†anyway.) Over the weekend, Drake appeared on a stream with gamer xQc, where they listened to some music and shot the shit. When Lacy’s No. 1 song “Bad Habit†came on, Drake remarked, “This guy’s like a fragile opp, but this is a good song, though.†Fragile opp? What does that even mean?

Looks like Lacy isn’t being fragile about the whole thing. He reposted Drake’s comment to his Instagram Story, adding a “YOOOOOOOOOO 😭😭†and setting it to Drake’s own “I Get Lonely†(speaking of fragility). And later, Lacy decided to get whatever he could out of the attention, posting a call for his own “fragile opp 🤤†on Instagram too. (“Diss him w a guitar riff or sum do sumn,†one fan replied; we would like to hear it.)

Drake did appear to address his less fragile opp, Lamar, at the beginning of the stream. The rapper opened by noting that his “mind, body, and soul†were “intact,†even giving a little twirl for xQc’s stream. “You need facts to take me out, fairy tales won’t do it,†Drake said — likely referring to Lamar’s pedophilia allegations on “Not Like Us.†So, uh, guess we’ll be waiting for Drake to drop some facts about Steve Lacy, then?
