It looks like Drew Barrymore has finally settled on her directorial follow-up to Whip It: The Hollywood Reporter writes that the actress has signed to direct The End, an apocalypse drama for Warner Bros. The story will follow many different characters from several countries as they cope with the looming end of the world (seeking a friend, we imagine, is somewhat discouraged in this version), though Barrymore herself has no plans to take a role in the ensemble.
