In her breakout films, like Winter’s Bone and The Hunger Games, Jennifer Lawrence tended to go fatherless, but she’s attached herself to a new project with plenty of questionable family bonding. Variety is reporting that Lawrence plans to topline The Ends of the Earth, a fact-based, twenties-set drama about the romantic affair between Lydie Marland and her oil baron uncle Ernest Marland, who adopted Lydie as his own daughter. Peeta would be scandalized!
