Robert Pattinson, swinging for the auteur fences! The Twilight actor is currently promoting his David Cronenberg film Cosmopolis, and now Variety brings word that Pattinson is attached to play T.E. Lawrence in Werner Herzog’s new film Queen of the Desert, which would star Naomi Watts as archaeologist and writer Gertrude Bell. Jon Stewart is surely so proud.
