Darren Aronofsky once developed a Jackie Kennedy movie for his ex-fiance Rachel Weisz to topline, but now it looks like his Black Swan star Natalie Portman may give the project new heat. Deadline is reporting that Fox Searchlight is wooing Portman for Jackie, which would take place just after the JFK assassination. (The First Lady was 34 at the time; Portman is currently 31.) Still, Portman’s involvement will be dependent on landing a respected director, as Aronofsky fell out of the film when he and Weisz broke up.
