Hedi Slimane’s Saint Laurent Show: First Photos
Hedi Slimane’s first Saint Laurent show walked just over an hour ago, and featured several things we predicted — unknown models, sheer blouses, lots of black and white, and visible nipples — plus many things we didn’t. Most striking of all were the dark, wide-brimmed felt hats, pulled low over the models’ tousled, shaggy hair and casting shadows over their faces. Meanwhile, the shoes were high, sexy, and sharp, some with with T-straps at the ankle. You can also see tassels, tiered lace, peasant blouses, pussy-bows, slim pants, a gold waist belt, and a floor-sweeping cape tied at the neck in our slideshow. Meanwhile, the front row included Anna Wintour sandwiched between Valerie Trierweiler and Jessica Chastain. Keep checking back — more images to come.
