President Obama made an appearance on The Daily Show last night and had a nice long chat with host Jon Stewart. The two covered a lot of ground in their 16-minute conversation, rattling through Obama’s first term accomplishments, what went wrong with the first debate, and, of course, Joe Biden’s fashion choices. It’s a solid interview that’s equal parts serious and funny, but I can’t wonder why Barack Obama did the show. Was he promoting something? If Obama had a movie coming out this weekend, this would be some great publicity for it.
