What do you do when you have a back-to-back Oscar winner on your late night talk show? Ask him to perform a slam poem about Full House, of course. That’s why I’m assuming this isn’t Tom Hanks’s slam poetry debut. It’s just the first thing you’d think to have him do, and the guy’s appeared on a lot of talk shows. Tom Hanks probably recited slam poems about Perfect Strangers or Mr. Belvedere on Arsenio in the early 90s. The footage just isn’t online yet.
