Over the summer, music blogs (and Lady Gaga’s own Twitter) were buzzing with the rumor that Gaga would feature on Kendrick Lamar’s already much-anticipated debut album, Good Kid, m.A.A.d. City. Then (for reasons that will probably become clear once you hear the cut) the collaboration was called off, everyone lost their minds over GKMC, and the promise of a Kendrick-Gaga experiment — which was kind of a “sure, whatever†idea anyway — was totally forgotten. Except by Lady Gaga, of course, who took it upon herself to make a collab version of “Bitch, Don’t Kill My Vibe†and release it last night on Twitter. The title is self-fulfilling, though that is maybe not all Gaga’s fault; she doesn’t sound bad, exactly. Just extraneous.
