Today Lil Wayne lost a lawsuit against Quincy Jones’s son and the rest of the filmmakers behind 2009’s The Carter, a documentary detailing the creation of the mega-successful Tha Carter III; Weezy had been displeased with the film using his music. There was also a countersuit in the mix, claiming Wayne “wrongfully limited the film’s profit potential,†and now Weezy F. Baby is been ordered to pay a heavy $2.2 million. Oof.
