The Hollywood Reporter just revealed comedian Aziz Ansari to be the one behind a joke Twitter account for the Homeland character Sgt. Brody (@SergeantBrody). THR cracked the story when Ansari, an avid fan of the Showtime series and a beloved Twitterer himself, posted a tweet intended for the account on his personal feed, quickly deleted it, and then reposted the tweet on the Sgt. Brody Twitter. The account, which started up in late October, has quickly gained over 30,000 followers and Ansari has retweeted it multiple times, and now let’s all start accusing Aziz Ansari as being the one behind other super funny Twitter accounts.
