A Pan’s Labyrinth Musical Is on the Way

Pan’s Labyrinth is not the most obvious movie to adapt into a musical, but here we are. The mesmerizing 2006 Guillermo del Toro nightmare fairytale film is stage-bound, Deadline reports. And it has quite the team working on it: del Toro is co-writing the book, Oscar winner Gustavo Santaolalla (Brokeback Mountain) is writing the music, and Oscar winner Paul Williams is writing the lyrics. To get the ball rolling, we wrote a little ditty for ole mister hand-eyes over there. “Mis ojos, mis ojos, tengo ojos en mis manos y me gusta comer niños.†Go with it, Paul Williams.
