Stand-up/Parks and Rec writer Chelsea Peretti and Men of a Certain Age’s Andre Braugher have just been cast in a new Fox pilot starring Andy Samberg, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The untitled show was written by Parks and Recreation co-creator Mike Schur and writer Dan Goor, and it follows a diverse group of police officers in a precinct on the edge of New York City. Peretti will play Gina the civilian office manager at the station, and Braugher’s character is Captain Holt, who just got his own command after 30 years on the force. Terry Crews, Melissa Fumero, and Stephanie Beatriz are also set to star in the show, which looks to be the fall’s most anticipated comedy pilot and one of the best bets to fill the gaping hole in your heart left by 30 Rock’s absence.
