Though not in the traditional way: Chaplin, Chastain’s three-legged dog, wandered onstage during the second act of The Heiress on Saturday. He has great timing, apparently, as he knew to crash the show during “perhaps the most climactic portion.†He took a curtain call, too (after being kicked offstage for the duration of the play). Somewhere an enterprising producer is already making calls about Zero Dog Thirty: The Musical.
