The first official day of New York Fashion Week has nearly drawn to a close with Bohemian tinged grunge girls at BCBG Max Azria, post-apocalyptic wear at Kimberly Ovitz, and graphic geometric separates at Creatures of the Wind. While you’re looking through the runway galleries, this slideshow which will constantly update with noteworthy details you may otherwise overlook. Zoom in to see a BCBG Max Azria tulle tank covered in matching leather sequins, or Richard Chai LOVE’s business-meets-pleasure pencil skirt that features actual sequins mixed with tweed. Over at Creatures of the Wind, their partnership with Swarovski meant crystal flowers carefully placed (and nearly camouflaged ) on a patchwork wool skirt. And finally, upon closer inspection, we saw that Kimberly Ovitz opted to pair slouchy lace leggings over predictable tights with a slit-up-to-there dress.
