Tina Fey has just joined the cast of a new movie called This Is Where I Leave You, a comedy-drama that will also star Jason Bateman, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Based on the 2010 novel of the same name by Jonathan Tropper, the film follows four grown siblings (two of which will be played by Bateman and Fey) dealing with the loss of their father and his last request that they all spend a week together under the same roof for the first time in decades. Kathryn Hahn is likely to star as Bateman’s sister-in-law, but that’s not official yet. This Is Where I Leave You was originally set for production last year, with Bateman, Leslie Mann, Zac Efron, and Goldie Hawn starring, but everyone besides Bateman has since dropped out. Tina Fey has been keeping busy since 30 Rock wrapped production earlier this year. She’s working on a movie with Paula Pell, developing a show for NBC with Robert Carlock, and starring in the new Muppets movie, but most of her time these days is spent being asked if she and Amy Poehler are going to host the Oscars.
