Guillermo del Toro’s haunted house flick Crimson Peak is still ten months away from filming, so we’ve all got plenty of time to slobber over the news that Benedict Cumberbatch — that equally excellent and blood-chilling Brit — has come aboard. “The gothic horror story centers on a woman who discovers that her husband may not be whom he appears to be,†THR writes. Cumberbatch’s role is being kept secret, but he joins Emma Stone and Charlie Hunnam.
