Festival weekend in the heart of a desert tends to attract celebrities (and their up-and-coming spawn) like ants to the fallen droplets of a melting ice cream cone. This weekend at Coachella was no exception. As if suddenly hypnotized into free-spirited hippies by the lulling sounds of the xx, Phoenix, and the like, waves of celebrities tossed aside their red carpet glam to play dress up in the heat, testing out an assortment of loose hippie braids, tie-dye skirts, belly-baring crop tops, head gear of all types, and tribal print tops for days. Lindsay Lohan avoided the evening chill in a long-sleeved crop top. Solange dazzled on the grassy, sunny field in a lemon-print dress. Meanwhile, Vanessa Hudgens literally looked like a gypsy, and one of the young Willises even wore a swimsuit as her outfit.
