YouTube announced today that they’ll be holding their first ever “comedy week†next month. The event will feature performers Vince Vaughn, Seth Rogen, Sarah Silverman, Michael Cera, Ed Helms, Garfunkel & Oates, and Norm Macdonald in a week of stand-up, sketches, music, and live performances. It’ll take place the week of May 19th to the 25th, kicking off that Sunday with a live variety show running 90-120 minutes. Silverman and Cera are currently working to create content for the new YouTube comedy channel JASH, while Norm Macdonald hosts a show on YouTube’s Video Podcast Network. YouTube’s comedy week will be run by Daniel Kellison, who oversees both JASH and the Video Podcast Network. Finally, comedy is coming to YouTube.
