Emma Watson Played It Safe in Christopher Kane

Emma Watson would like the world to know she’s not a precocious, prim, and proper witch anymore. She can play a partying teen burglar who delivers courthouse speeches that would make Lindsay Lohan’s jaw drop. For day two of the Cannes Film Festival, the British actress showed up at a photo call for her latest film, The Bling Ring, dressed in a two-piece maroon outfit by Christopher Kane. While the cut was simple and classic, the top and skirt veered slightly more bold with its purple feathered-fringe accents. Watson tied her hair back into a sleek bun, kept her makeup natural, and added black pumps.
