Shane Black and his Iron Man 3 co-writer Drew Pearce did a long podcast about the movie, and in the midst of some major spoilers (you’ve been warned), Black shared this delightful cut scene: “Pepper [Gwyneth Paltrow], in one draft, slept with Killian [Guy Pearce] because he was so pheromonially enhanced with this extremis that she couldn’t resist him and she was angry with Tony and so she sleeps with Killian and then he makes a sex tape and broadcasts it in Home Depot.†It’s the Home Depot that really makes it art.
