For fans of the classic science-fiction novel, a film version of Orson Scott Card’s Ender’s Game has been a long time coming. Here is the first trailer for the movie about a shy yet brilliant boy, Ender (Asa Butterfield), who trains to fight aliens and become the commander of Earth’s army. The film was written and directed by Gavin Hood (X-Men Origins: Wolverine), co-stars fancy old people (Harrison Ford and Ben Kingsley) and young people (Hailee Steinfeld and Abigail Breslin), and is currently set for a November 1, 2013, release date.
