Do you think Channing Tatum minds that the characters he plays are partly defined by their dumbness? Seriously, Maggie G, why did you have to bring up his college GPA like that? But, of course, he has to be dumb, because the president (Jamie Foxx) is apparently a real nerd. We know he’s a nerd because he wears glasses and bumbles around when trying to use a machine gun. A ridiculous movie about the president and a soldier guy defending the White House from nondescript bad guys probably didn’t need an odd-couple component, but we’ll take it.
