Here it is, The World’s End, the final installment in Edgar Wright Cornetto’s trilogy, which also includes Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz. This time, the British protagonists (Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Paddy Considine, Eddie Marsan, Martin Freeman, and Rosamund Pike) will be up against not zombies nor old people, but something more or less scary (depending on how you feel about the undead and almost-dead): robots! Robots that bleed ink and look like people and hate pub crawls. The film is scheduled to open on July 19 in the U.K., and August 23 in the U.S. Leave your robot at home.
